Infotainment and Technology Features
An eight-inch touchscreen includes a SYNC3 system with voice recognition and navigation features. The Bang & Olufsen audio system offers surround sound, and a wireless charging pad for mobile connectivity is also an available feature.
Exterior design
Its strong aesthetic appeal offers a standard ground clearance of 7.8 inches. An additional one inch is available on the Heritage model. Tow hooks and roof racks are also available for the perfect off-roading adventure. The safari-style roof can hold up to 68 kg of cargo. The wheel-arch moulding and rocker panels are designed to protect the vehicle’s exterior. Metal bash plates are included on the Badlands and Heritage Limited models.
Interior Comfort and Cargo Space
The roomy, resistant interior offers space for up to five passengers. Most models have a cargo volume of 65.2 cubic feet when the second-row seats are folded down. The driver and passenger seats have six and four adjustable manual settings. The vehicle’s Cargo Management System includes a camp table, and convenient storage can be found with the MOLLE Straps System’s zipper pockets.
Performance Features
The Base, Big Bend, Heritage, and Outer Banks’ 1.5L EcoBoost engine has 181 horsepower and 190 lb-ft of torque. The 2.0L EcoBoost Engine has 250 horsepower and 277 lb-ft of torque. The sand mode is the standard choice for all models. Additional drive modes include rock crawl, mud/ruts, and snow/slippery.
Safety and Driver-Assistance Features
The Ford Co-Pilot360 is a standard feature. The 180-degree camera and rear-view camera assist with parking and general manoeuvring. Auto high beams, a Blind Spot Information System with Cross-Traffic Alert, a Lane Keeping System, and Pre-Collision Assist with AEB are all included to boost vehicle safety. The FordPass app offers complimentary maintenance, rewards, roadside assistance, remote start and unlocking, and vehicle location.
